First Class of 2010 Milestone

This week marks the first time a full class has been taught by a Venezuelan in the Seminario Wesleyano de Venezuela.  Pastor Carlos Pirona, 2007 SWV graduate and leader in the United Methodist Church of Venezuela is teaching a course on Pre-Marital Counseling.  Also, Dean David is teaching a course on Self-Confrontation.

Our goal is to one day have an all indigenous faculty and staff.  This is a long-term goal, but we are making progress and are very grateful for the ownership Venezuelans are taking for the work of the Seminary.  Pray that God will continue to raise up capable, holy Venezuelan leaders.

Of course, we still need your prayers for the work of the seminary and we still need your gifts.  Mission teams are making their way to the Seminary soon and they also need your prayers.  Send your gift to Venezuela Now, Inc., PO Box 1655, Duluth, GA. 30096
